...AND THEN THERE WAS ICE.

We got a pretty large group together this past Sunday with big hopes of a beautiful fall ride for the last time before winter hits hard. Weeeell, it started off with fall leaves (as you can see in the first picture) but just a little while later we turned a corner and there it was, winter. The sheets of pure ice changed our plan a little but it was still a great little ride with awesome friends. I guess that riding season is over. :-(

EASY SILENCE.

I apologize for my silence, it's been a busy couple of weeks. I've started two new jobs, making three, in those weeks. It seems busy, and it is, but I can't complain. I love all of my jobs for different reasons. I have two jobs in the law field, which I plan on continuing and forming a career with, and I also recently decided to go back to my former company so that I can make a little extra money and have it be my "fun" job, working retail and building the company a new website (which I will post when it is launched). I'm really excited about it and can't wait for everyone to see it.

My new office job is amazing. I couldn't ask to work in an environment with such happy, fun people. I'm sure if you follow my Twitter you know all about them already!

I promise that I will try to post more often again. I think that it's just been overwhelming getting used to all of this change but once I've settled in, I know that I will love it even more.

OKTOBERFEST, JA.

One of our favorite traditions each year is Oktoberfest up at Snowbird. It's a beautiful drive up to there in the fall, also, which doesn't hurt. We went last weekend after they had just got their first snow of the season. It was chilly but worth it. It's always a good time to go enjoy drinking good beers in a gorgeous environment!

AUTUMN RIDING.

Now that it's not a sweltering 100 degrees around this city, we finally broke out the bicycles again the other day. It felt so amazing to be riding around again. During the summer months, I'm not brave enough to ride. I feel that by the time I get anyway, my make-up is melting off of my face and I'm soaked in sweat, it isn't pretty! If any SLC ladies want to start going for rides, let me know, I would love to do a couple of rides each week until snow falls.
