WHAT YOU ALLOW IS WHAT WILL CONTINUE.

It's Monday, here we go again. After a stressful weekend, I'm not going to lie, I'm a little excited for a new week and as of tomorrow, a new month. Last night was one of those night where you just can't help but feel sorry for yourself. I try not to do that often, but once in awhile, my pity party sets in on myself. I am really hoping that October brings better times and I have every bit of faith that it will. But for today, this last day of September, I kind of just want to crawl under this rock with all these beautiful pillows and sleep. Doesn't it look heavenly?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BROTHER!

My little brother turned 20 yesterday, no more being a teenager! I was 3 years old when he was born and that day all that I did was cry and yell "Fold him up and put him back in!" and I can honestly say, there's only been a few times since that I wish they would have done that. He turned out to be my best friend, the only person on this Earth that knows me better than I know myself. I can't imagine what my life would've been without this guy.

I have always said that I would be happy having one child. That was until recently when someone pointed out how different my life would've been without my brother, if my parents would've only had me. That sounds too lonely, I couldn't do it to my child. Siblings are too much fun, even through the bad times and the fighting, they teach you so much about life.

RELAXATION STATION.

It's finally fall in this city! Tomorrow should be the last day in the 80's and I'm so happy. Time for all of our unattractive, chunky, baggy sweaters. Since it hasn't been so hot in my apartment, I've been cooking a lot more and trying all kinds of new recipes. I hope to post some of them on the blog this week, they have all turned out quite amazing!

I am coming down with a cold flu so last night I decided to rent a movie and stay lazy. The Place Beyond the Pines....WOW, best movie I have seen in a long time. If you haven't seen it yet, you must.

A DAY AT THE RACES.

 

Each year they hold the vintage motorcycle races about an hour away from Salt Lake in Tooele. We have gone out there for the past three years, it's actually one of my favorite summer traditions. You see the neatest bikes and the races are a blast to watch. I always get so excited when I see little old Hondas like mine and there are quite a few of them out there every year. This year, we went with our friends Dan, Brad, and Chrissey. For anyone that can spare an early September weekend and lives near Salt Lake, I highly recommend you go next year. We also did the go-cart racing this time and it was a blast. I always get left in the dust but it's so much fun anyway.
